Judith's Story
O.K. Since I haven't been to one high school reunion, here goes;
After HS I became and R.N., worked at Hartford Hospital in Oncology then moved to Colorado with a college friend. I've lived here for the past 25 years. I was fortunate enough to work at one of the best hospitals in the country in Denver. Eventually, I met a great man, married him and 22 years later we are still best friends and business partners. We moved to the San Juan Mountains about 13 years ago and live in a gorgeous place near a ski area. Seven years ago, I had a life changing experience when the kids and I tumbled 135 feet down the mountainside,rolled three times and landed upside down in the river. shed author, freelance writer, business woman and a Reiki Master. I write under the pen name Judith Stone. I primarily write children's books though my husband and I are working on an adult novel. My first book of a series, 'Billie The Buffalo Goes To Town,' is a science, history, adventure book about Billie, a real bison from the Flying Eagle Bison Ranch.My husband, MArk is the photgrapher,illustrator. The age range for this book is 4 to 9. I've just completed a free teachers guide and am working on a more kid and teacher friendly website. The next book, 'Billie The Buffalo Goes To The Great Sand Dunes," will be published in June 2009 and introduce a new character, Lilly, Billie's calf.My website is billiethebuffalo.com
