Judith's Story
Life
CCB-1967. Married-1972. Moved to Illinois same year.
BS from UI-Chicago 1977, MS from UI-Chicago 1979.
Sarah born 1979. David born 1981. Moved to Florida 1984.
Sarah graduated from Goucher 2001(Psych). David graduated from Tulane 2003(Language). Sarah got her Masters 6/29/03(Family Therapy). I got mine in July, 2004(Health Law).
Sarah married in 2004. She has a new baby girl named Kaia. Sarah is also working on a PhD in Child and Family Therapy.
David is teaching English in Sendai, Japan in high school. He also gets to go to an elementary school several times a week for English lessons. He plans to go to graduate school when his teaching contract expires next year.
Current employment-HIV Educator for the American Red Cross. I go into the public schools (grades 3-12) and give appropriate information-lecture, video, Q&A. MY "inside" job is to manage contracts with companies who have inhouse First Aid/CPR/AED instructors. I also wrangle Lifeguards and Water Safety Instructors. Just found out that I am also the Interim HIV Education Coordinator. Need more hours in the day!

Have a cute little house, two outstanding children, the most beautiful granddaughter in the world, and two adorable grandpuppies.
Wow, it's been a long time since I wrote last.
I am now a Bubbe (Grandmother) again. In addition to Kaia (2 1/2 years old), I have a grandson named Caleb who turned 1 in August. I have moved to Fort Pierce-closer to my daughter and her family-also closer to my parents. I am teaching for the North Treasure Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross-same classes as before.
Still have my pug, Guinness. He is older and crazier-guess who he takes after?
The reunion was a blast!

AA from CCB. Worked at University of Maryland Hospital. Got married in 1972 and moved to Champaign,Ill-Husband in Graduate School at UI. Moved to Chicago in 1974. Went back to school-BS in Sociology with Biology minor in 1976, MS in Sociology in 1978. Daughter born in 1979, son in 1981. Moved to South Florida in 1984. Divorced in 1999. Currently enrolled in Master of Health Law online program. Work as an HIV Educator for the Red Cross (also do HIV education for Girl Scouts in Broward County as a volunteer) and am a Mad Scientist-afterschool and PreK programs in all areas of science.
