Judy's Story
After graduation, I attended Brazosport College. I married Keith McGough in July 1969 and would do it again. We were married 21 years and have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. My biggest surprise was that it didnt' last, it was a very hard time for me. He will always hold a very special place in my heart.
My first job was with Dr. Nicholson as a receptionist. The opportunity to work for Southwestern Bell presented itself and I started a 17 year career with Ma Bell. I loved my job and met life long friends through this experience. When Bell downsized I went to work at Dow Chemical and worked there until I married in 1995 and moved to Mississippi.
I currently work for the State of MS Department of Mental Health that deals with Developmental Disabilities or Mental Retardation. I am an Administrative Assistant at a workshop (Attala Industries) that does sub-contract work with local businesses. It is a great job and I am blessed every day by seeing how these people can do so much and have such pride in each accomplishment. I hope to retire in a few years.
I thought I might have something with one of my old classmates (that will remain nameless), but he didn't have a clue! Anyway, since he never "got it"...I moved on with my life. He is still very dear to my heart and I will always think of him in a special wa...Expand for more

I am married to Bobby Pinkard and we live on an 89 acre farm in central Mississippi. We have horses and an assortment of other farm animals. I love the peacefulness of farm life. However, I do enjoy all the city conveniences. Bobby has 2 surviving children and 3 grandchidren. So combined we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They all enjoy coming to Meme and Papaw's house, so we stay busy!
I enjoyed my time at BHS and Brazosport College. I cherish all the friendships I made there and all the memories that seem to come to mind a lot more frequently these days. I wasn't one that made a big impression in school. I tried to be nice and friendly to everyone. I had lots of friends, but was not considered one of the popular crowd. But, with age, what does that really matter anyway?
I still stay in touch with a lot of my friends from school. It amazes people when I show them how large our high school class was. They can't believe that we could be close. I felt like we had a wonderful class and I did feel like we were close. It didn't seem large to me because we had known each other for all the years in different schools. I hope my friends remember me as friendly, loyal, kind and supportive. I would really like to hear from all of you in our class or any class from BHS.
