Judy's Story
After McNary graduation, I attended Willamette University in Salem and earned my bachelors of arts in English in 1981. I then worked for a few years and returned to graduate school at the University of Oregon to earn my Master of Arts in Journalism in 1986. I met and married my husband, Roger, in 1989 and we lived for 6 years in Keizer and another 7 in Woodburn. Thanks to my husband, I have two lovely stepdaughters and 2 grandchildren, and two wonderful sons-in-law. Roger passed away in 2003 from lung can...Expand for more
cer and my dear mother followed him the next year when she died of colon cancer. I now make my home with my father on his farm near Gervais, with three cats indoors, numerous felines outdoors, 15 peacocks, and a yard/garden to die for. I work as a computer instructor part of the week at a nearby gradeschool and the rest of the week as legal assistant to my younger sister at her law office. I enjoy gardening, photography, travel, music, movies, and my very wonderful and supportive family. I am very blessed.
