Original input: I'M GETTING OLD AND TIRED OF IT ALL. LIFE HAS IT'S WAYS OF MAKING SURE WHEN ONE DOOR CLOSES, THE WINDOW THAT IS SUPPOSED TO OPEN IS LOCKED SHUT, IT SEEMS THESE LAST FEW YEARS. I WANT TO SEE WHAT OTHERS HAVE DONE WITH THEIR LIVES AND WHO IS STILL "ALIVE". NEED TO REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE PAST SINCE I DON'T KNOW THE FUTURE AND THE PRESENT ISN'T HOW I'D THOUGHT IT WOULD BE!WHAT WAS THE BEST? WAS IT THE YEARS IN BROOKLYN--I OFTEN THINK SO--HAHA!

never got to college nor got a degree. However, it has turned out that I did become, as a friend, THE SOMEONE, everyone turns to for help, comfort and guidance. I enjoy working with seniors and was/is active (somewhat) in women's rights, the AIDS Crisis and the American Heart Associations' GO RED FOR WOMEN program. My heart is always in the right place but I have so often been taken advantage of.
UPDATE 4/12: JUST REJOINED THIS SITE TO TRY AGAIN. HAVE HEARD FROM FEW WHOM I HAVE CONTACTED. GUESS IT IS TRUE, OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND EVEN TRYING TO RECONNECT AFTER ALMOST 50 YEARS.
