Judy's Story
I moved to western Washington in 1966. I live in Silverdale but have a Bremerton address because the Bremerton post Office delivers our mail. I have two adult children. My son and I live together. My daughter lives in Texas. She visits 2-3 times each year. It took me years to get accustomed to WA weather (rain and snow) and some years no summer. We lived on a farm and raised pigs and beef cattle...Expand for more
. Of course, we had chickens and ducks. I worked 31 years for the U.S. Navy. Most of my work was at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. I retired in 1999 . I love quilting, knitting, and reading. My husband died in 2018. He did all the cooking and grocery shopping. I have had to learn meal planning and start cooking. I never liked cooking. I still don’t like it. My son took over the grocery shopping.
