Judy's Story
Life
I was born in Hale Center, Texas. My parents lived in Plainview.
I attended first through middle of my fourth grade year in Olton. We moved to Cotton Center where I attended Hale Center for the second semester of my fourth grade year.
On July 4, 1959 we moved northeast of Plainview where I attended Ash Elementary for the fifth and sixth grades then went to Coronado Junior High and PHS.
I started to work at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company on May 20, 1967 as as operator. I married Charles Pierson after I graduated. We moved to Clovis and our son, Jamie, was born in Plainview.
I raised Jamie as a single mom after another marriage to James Craigo.

in track, baseball, football, basketball, bicycle motocross racing and motorcycling.
After he left for the University of Texas at Austin, I returned to college to graduate through the Amarillo satellite of Wayland Baptist University.
In 1990 I was promoted to the state staff of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Dallas. I was promoted to corporate staff and worked through June, 1999.
My son Jamie and his family live in Dallas. I love to keep the three granddaughters every chance I get.
I volunteer in Pilot International which promotes an awareness of brain disorders and improves the lives of those affected through education, volunteerism, financial support and research.
I'm now raising a twelve-year old great niece. Lanie loves to sing, draw, create plays and dance ballet.
