Judy's Story

Life Just trying to find old friends. Live in Colorado now, semi retired-worked 30 years for the Colorado State Department of Revenue and still work for both of our Newpapers to keep health insurance until I turn 65. Been at this job 21 years (yep-worked 2 full time jobs for a while). Really into marathons (26.2 miles) Just did the Chicago Marathon and three weeks later did the Sacramento. Started doing marathons at age 60 and have done San Diego, Phoenix, Disney World, Las Vegas and the all time favorite Bay to Breakers in San Francisco-that one is only 7 miles-Bay to the Ocean but my is it a party for that one. ere all the time-but never gamble. Will post pictures if interested. Love working out and being physcally fit. Since doing Sacramento I have done the Cincinatti Flying Pig, Portland Oregon, and the New York City Marathon. Just recently got "invited" to do the famous Boston Marathon this April. I did not have to have a qualifying time as most entrants do unless you know someone that did get me in. I just have to finish in about 6 hours-not the 4 hour requirement. Did the Cincinatti Marathon with a sling on as 5 weeks prior I had shoulder surgery for a torn rotator cuff. Just recently had knee surgery 4 weeks ago but am ready to start training again for Boston.
