Oh, my.... Tell my story of what I have been doing for the last 30 yrs... Ok, moved to Grass Valley in 1980. My heart has always belonged to Sierra County, but Grass Valley was the closest town with a job market. Married in 1982. Huge mistake, divorced in 1986. Lived and learned some of lifes really hard lessons, but would not trade it for the world. It formed the foundation of the woman I am today. Married again in 1988. Nice guy, great friend, great father, but not very motivated. We had our son in 2001 (Yeah, late, I know. I wasn't supposed to be able to have children, so pregnant at 39 was somewhat of a shock). We were in Santa Cruz then. My Dad was getting older and not doing the greatest, so we moved to the bay area in 1998 to be closer. I had a great job at UCSC as the Student Employment manager. When I had Paul, my husband quit his job to be an at home Dad. My Dad passed away in September of 2000 and I had my son in January of 2001. They never had a chance to meet. At least my Dad knew I was going to have a child. Anyway...yeah, it appears I am rambling, but I am trying to get as much info in, in the shortest amount of space. When my son turned 5 and I had a paranoia attack... I LOVE SANTA CRUZ, SO KICK A$$ FUN, SO MUCH TO DO...SEE, OMG, BUTTTT...I need to move back to Grass Valley, small town, small schools, get the hell out of SC while my son is young. That town is so easy to get swallowed up in when you are young. I wanted to be all up in my sons life. In SC, that would never happen, sooooooooo back to Grass Valley for my son to start kindergarten. Best move we ever made. With his Daddy at home during the key time of his life and...Expand for more
