Judy's Story
Life
I moved back to Long Island -- Baldwin, to be exact -- after living in all kinds of places, from Iowa to Brooklyn, after graduating college. I am married to Joel Peskoff, who grew up in the Bronx, and we have three sons: Michael, 16; Evan, 11; and Robert (Robbie), 8 years old. As you can see, I was a late breeder; in fact, those who were at our 25th reunion may remember that I was extremely pregnant with Robbie at the time. (He was born 3 days later!)
Career-wise, I am a high school Social Studies teacher in Jericho, NY. I try to walk in the footsteps of Connie Kanarek and Ir...Expand for more
win ("Barney") Rosen. I really enjoy my job, although 1 job, 1 husband, and 3 young kids is rather a lot on my plate.
My brother, who some of you may remember (one year older) is a physician, professor, and researcher at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He also travels around the country on a project involving helping medical offices to computerize their patient records.
My Dad still has the house we grew up in, although he does winter in Florida. Sadly, we lost my mom to cancer in February of 2004 after a 5 1/2 year fight.
