Judy's Story
I've been in Florida for 33 years now. I retired eight years ago as the Executive Director of the Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County, a non-profit arts organization - "the "Chamber of the Arts". Prior to that I was the first Exec Dir of the Charlotte Players, a community theater. Back in NY, I was in the travel industry for 20 years.
Both my children are back in NYC. My daughter Jennifer is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and an actress waiting to be discovered. My son, Peter, is a Broadway stagehand working at the August Wilson Theatre and freelancing on other Broadway shows (at the moment he's Working automation on "Funny Girl"' He married in May 2014. Show. She's now at home caring for my granddaughter Willa Viviane Malbuisson and grandson, Arlo Henry Malbuisson.
I love being retired. . I raise orchids, love to read and am a wiz at trivia. I'm also working on my family's genealogy and am on the board of the local genealogy society. It's like Christmas morning when you find a new connection.
I currently have a part-time job as Specialized Patient training and testing future doctors. And I'm NOT in charge! :)
The house on Intervale Avenue is no longer in the family. It was sad cleaning it out and letting it go.
I'm not as quiet as I was in school., but I'm still waiting to grow up.
I enjoyed our 50th reunion. Bummed that we couldn't get a 55th together, maybe the 60th?
