Judy's Story
I thoroughly enjoyed our Kirkman 1961 Reunion June 24-25th. Also had a really good time working with the preparation committee and getting reacquainted with former classmates at our meetings.
After high school, I had several jobs before I was blessed to be hired by GMAC in 1968. I worked there 30 years. Retired at age 55 only because the company closed our local office, and I did not want to transfer out of town to get in more years. I worked a part-time job at a Chattanooga law firm for 5 years, then finally retired at age 60. Since then, I have been enjoying life. My family, my church, friends. I love reading. o try to stave off my arthritis. A few months ago, I started learning to line-dance, and I am having fun and getting good exercise at the same time.
At the age of 24, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. That has been the most important decision in my life. Without Jesus Christ, nothing else is of value anyway.
In spite of troubles and heartaches along the way, I can say without hesitation that God has blessed me far beyond what I deserve. Having the gift of life is precious each new day.
