Hello everyone! I've updated this as of March 2011 I've lived in many places in California. Also lived in Florida for several years, my husband was an engineer on the Apollo/Saturn program. Made a short 3 year move to Arizona and then another move to Houston, Texas. Now in California; not my favorite place, but I have to stay close to my Grandkids! I have 4 wonderful children, ages 30 to 46. One son,(living in Fla) and 3 girls,all in CA. (I adopted one of the girls). I have 4 grandsons, 19, 14, 12 and 2 as of 2011. Two granddaughters. Emma turns 5 on March 23, 2010 (also my B-day) and Kylie, who turned 2 in Feb. This Grama is busy! Boeing relocated the Shuttle program to Houston. In August of 2002, so... I was on my way from Huntington Beach to Houston. I liked TX but the long, hot and humid summers were horrible! Here in California, we may dodge 1 mosquito, in Texas you have hundreds attacking you as soon as you go out the door. After 1 year and 9 months I retired and came back to CA. Living that far away was too hard and sad for me and my family. Besides, 20 years was enough at Rockwell/Boeing! Today ~ I am enjoying my family & friends.
