Like many other girls in high school, I thought I would work (for me, as a secretary) after school, get married, have many children, and live happily ever after in a house with a white picket fence - NOT!!! I have worked and retired as a secretary which I dearly loved, beginning at Northrop Ventura in Newbury Park and ending at Rafer Johnson School which was a special ed school for severely handicapped children, been married 43years to my great husband Ross (third times a charm), (I regret to say he passed unexpectedly a month ago), have a wonderful daughter Stacy who has always been so special, two great step-children Monica and Jason, who live in Texas and eight fantastic grandchildren. Stacy has three children, the oldest Kelly, 34 graduated with honors from San Diego State University and the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona and got her PA degree . She got married in Puerta Vallarta in a destination wedding and was the most wonderful and beautiful wedding I have ever been to. She now lives in Colorado and has worked as a PA for many years and has two adorable girls - I’M A GREAT GRANDMA. Cody, 31, graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and got his degree in Agricultural & Environmental Plant Sciences and working at a large agricultural company, doing very well and is happily married to Molly,, who is wonderful and given us an adorable little character great grandson and then there’s Mason who is 25 and also graduated from Cal Poly and has a great new job and doing very well and has a s...Expand for more
