I live in Michigan now on Crystal Lake. It's nice but it gets old real quick. I am looking to re-locate to northern Indiana this time. A small farm. I love animals and want to start growing my own food. I have a fireplace now and that is the best thing I can think of about winter up here. It snows and I live in a rural area and it is very beautiful for awhile, but it is a real drag to drive in. I have lived in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Virginia and now Michigan. I get bored easitly and like a change of scenery, and people. I traveled around alot when I was young. Mostly the West Coast all the way up to Oregon. Beautiful country and people. You can't get away with that kind of stuff anymore. I once hitch-hiked from LA to San Francisco.. It was quite a trip for someone 19 years old. I know I'll never forget it. Wouldn't want to change a thing about it. I also traveled up and down the East Coast all the way to Maine. Now there is a beautiful place. If you have never heard the call of the bird--the loon, on the lake in the middle of the night you should try and do that at least once. I was camping at the time in Maine and reading a Stephen King book, one of his scarier ones and I was in the woods in a tent reading by flashlight, and unless you really enjoy being scared sensless----don't ever do that. I guess you could say that I enjoy reading and photography is a hobby of mine. I mostly take pictures of the wildlife aaround here. There are swans, geeese, pre-historic looking birds, some kind of cranes, deer, wild turkeys, lots ...Expand for more
