Oh man, to sum up 34 years in a few sentences. I've been back in Arizona 25 years and will never return to the snow country. I've been with my partner for 10 years. We own a home in Gold Canyon, AZ with a horse, dog, cat and a parrot. I've been working in the field of mental health for 22 years as a counselor and therapist. ate program for a Masters in Counseling. Might consider a Ph.D, but right now I'm so burned out that I just want to rest awhile.
The years have been good to me, although the old knees and hips give me hell. I was introducing myself to a new client one day - a child of about 7 - and the first thing out of her mouth was "you old!" Thanks, kid.
