Judy's Story
After trying many careers I chose to enter the job market with the VA Medical Center. I worked at the American Lake Division, Huntsville Alabama, and the Seattle division. Participated in the merger of the Seattle VA with American Lake, establishing the VA Puget Sound Health Care System. It was an interesting while a challenging journey. I retired several years ago as the Chief of the Business Office for both division.
I divorced after 15 years, and enjoyed the ups and downs of raising 5 children - which included a set of twins.

e were 3 girls and 2 boys - one of the girls and boy were the twins. Unfortunately we lost our twin girl in an pedistrian/automobile accident when she was 14, but feel blessed she was with us those few years. My children, who all live in the Tacoma area, are all successful in their own right, and have given me 6 grandchildren ranging from 27 to 6 years old.
I remarried 8 years ago to a wonderful man who has become Pops or Papa to all my children. He has become the "man to call" when anyone needs help.
What a wonderful life I have had.
