Julia's Story
Life
I am the mother of 4 awesome people, a son 27, and 3 daughters, ages 26, 25, and 7. Nothing like starting your life all over at 40, a new baby, new career, a totally new life.
Workplace
After spending much of my life working in offices, running other people's businesses, and running one of my own, I went back to school after the birth of my last child and became a manual machinist for a large oilfield equip...Expand for more
ment hauling, trucking company in OKC. I was not only the only woman in the shop, I was the only machinist and I loved my job. After my 2nd divorce, I went back to school, to learn programming and instead became an instructor in the Precision Machining/Computer Numerical Control at the same technology center I attended.
There is nothing in the world like introducing and teaching people to do what you love to do.
