Julia's Story

Life Mother of 7 children. 6 boys ranging from 9-23 (as of April 2008) and 1 girl age 7. Married to John Resch; a U.S. Army Soldier who is now retired from the Army. We currently live in Grand Rapids, MI and are buying a home in Ada, Mi. Take a look at my photos to see a picture of the new house. I love photography and do all my own pictures of my children. I also on the side photograph school events, ballet school events and portraits, boy scout & girl scout events, and I also do senior portraits. Of course, then there are also my hobby photographs. I enjoy spending quality time with my kids and hubby. We go out looking at lighthouses, camping, hiking, and enjoying the Great Lakes. I am more outgoing than when I was in high school and love to try new things. Im not timid anymore, in fact if someone bothers me, I will let them know about it. I love to debate someone on a subject. If I were single, I would let you know if I am interested in you. I never used to do that. I would really like to find some true friends that knew me back then....Kathy Barber from Elementary school, Lisa Gary, Ernest Kreidt, Richard Horvath, Roger Kimball, Sylvia Krall, Richard Hager, Janet & Joyce Dawson...and so many more. I would also like to catch up with Mr Cripe from the horticulture department. If I could do things differently back then......well, I would definitely use the attitude I have now on life. I would not hesitate to be more social, enjoy all the social activities that were available to me, I would take advant...Expand for more
age of the classes I love most like photography, I would strive to make myself more femine (I was raised by a dad with no mom, what do you expect!!! LOL). I would pay more attention in computer class....(I had to teach myself all about computers as an adult...but thats ok, I know how to tear one down, reformat, install hardware and software, and much more)....I wouldnt have been so boy crazy like a little girl. Instead, I would have made it known to those special to me, who I liked. AND....I wouldnt be as nerdy as I was....LOL!!!! I have lived of course in CALIFORNIA....during my school years and childhood, in the same house. After getting married the first time, I moved to Hacienda Heights, CA and had 3 children. Later I got divorced because my husband at that time was into drugs and I was too unknowledgable to know what was going on. Then I finally found the right guy and married him. He has been in the US Army for 20 years and then retired recently in 2006. He was a recruiter in Anaheim, CA when I met him. He served in Operation Desert Storm & Desert Shield. He also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His job was in the Patriot Missles area. He knew lots of the people that were ambushed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. So anyway, we have lived in Calfornia, then we moved to Fort Polk, LA (Leesville). After that, it was off to Fort Bliss, TX (El Paso). Then we settled here in Grand Rapids, MI. It is great...wonderful atmosphere for raising kids. Lots to do through out the year for families. Any questions? Ask!
