Julia's Story

I am a brand new widow. My husband of 49 years, Gene, died here at home in Mt. Carmel, Utah on Feb. 23, 2010 of Kidney failure and heart failure. I am a nurse--I became one when I was 50, so I was doing peritoneal dialysis on him every night at home. Otherwise, we would have had to drive to St. George and back 3 times every week. could not have stood that. I live in a house owned by one of my daughters. We have 2 1\2 dozen kids. Two daughters and a half dozen sons. I went to the St. George Temple today. It has been a good day. I don't yet know who Julia the widow is going to to turn out to be. Hope I like her . Re-inventing myself-- Julia Henderson Kittell.
