Julia's Story

Life After high school, I went to college at Washington University in St. Louis. I started out in a pre-Med program but decided that wasn't what I wanted to do in life. I ended up quitting school in my third year to find out what I wanted to do. I worked in retail, sales and marketing before finally deciding to finish school and get my Masters degree. I completed my undergraduate degree in 1997 from Wash U. and then my Master in Business Administration in 2001 from the University of Central Oklahoma. Shortly after, in 2002, I married my long time, on again-off again boyfriend. (You know, there is a reason that you are on again then off again...Expand for more
.) As with any relationship in which the partners do not share the same ambitions (such as working for a living), ours was very short, lasting just short of a year. A couple of years later, 2004, on a fluke, I met my husband, Dan, on a dating network. He's one of the most wonderful, caring, intelligent, responsible and dependable people I have ever met in my life. He's almost exactly like my father, in mannerism, thoughts and honor, which is the highest compliment I could possibly award anyone. We live in the suburbs of Milwaukee, with our four legged children, Oliver and Dakota. If you remember me and want to contact me, drop me a line!
