Janet's Story
Workplace
After all these years, I can honestly say I have found the job and employer that I am content to be a team. Our company was bought out by United HealthCare and I have been transferred to the out-patient Surgery Center and I stay quite busy everyday. Have the ideal hours, in at 6:30 a.m. and out at 3:00 p.m. This job is awesome and I am really enjoying it.
Julian and I just celebrated "20" years of marriage and will be together 21 years this November.
I have two children from my first marriage, Rudy (39) and Christina (38). My son, Rudy is a dad of (2) children: Aidan and Aaliyah. My daughter, Christina is a proud mom of (2) children; Jordan and Dylan. Jordan, she graduates June 2013 and hopes to continue and go to college in Las Vegas. Christina and her family want to move to the Northern region; Oregon or Washington and I am praying to God it doesn't happen. I am hoping that we all move back to Southern California and get closer to our family that still lives primarily in Riverside area. Julian has (4) children and has (12) grandchildren, so together we have (16) grandchildren and (2) gr...Expand for more
eat-grandchildren by Julian's daughter Jennifer.
I raised my children on my own after being married to their dad for 12-years and walked away due to other choices he made in his life. My children have a relationship with his dad and that's all I can expect.
We still live in Las Vegas, Nevada and really like it.... other than July and August when it is 100 degrees plus out.
I am actually looking at retiring in (4) years, at 62 so I can enjoy my life with my husband; camping, traveling, quads, desert events and just relaxing and enjoying ourselves with no time table. So I am praying to God that it works out in our favor. I really hope to move back to Southern California around that time or thereafter. Julian and I are thankful for the things we have accomplished since moving to Las Vegas.
God has been good to us and we are thankful! We do not take anything for granted. We love and adore our family. Julian and I love to travel; camping and just enjoying the love that we share and the comfort we give to each other daily. We are very supportive of each other, especially in the challenges that we face.
