Juliana's Story
Life
I am married with three girls; Alyssia 16, Jessika 12, and Katlyn 4 years old. We live in Highlands Ranch and we love it. I work as an Information Technology Specialist, Telecommunications for Department of the Interior.
College
Well, after high school I took a college class here and there. I finally got serious in 1998 and started back to college full-time, earning a Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems Management.
Workplace

epartment of the Interior's (DOI) Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) as a Clerk-typist. I worked my way up to Administrative Assistant and realized that I needed to get a degree to move up further. Finally completing my degree in 2000, I was able to apply for Computer Specialist positions. In January 2001, I accepted a position as an Information Technology Specialist for DOI, Minerals Management Services. I love this career change and I am now able to move up further in the government or even private sector.
