Julie's Story
I left HS, moved to Ohio for two yrs to attend Ohio University. I majored in art and philosophy and it was basically one long party and I had many strange and wonderful experiences. I later transferred to UMASS and moved to an apt in Brookline. Met my husband first day of ancient greek and we have been together now for 17 years! We dropped the class and spent the time driving around NE eating Japanese food. Eventually I graduated with a degree in philosophy and worked as an assistant bookeeper at a law firm until the birth of my first child Abigail(now 11). he madness of three tykes who all loved to talk more than sleep-it was wonderful but we missed anything that happened in the world from 1996-2000. Currently I am finishing a masters degree in eduation- specifically for disabled students. I am a Special Education Teacher for Malden Public Schools-I can't believe they pay me for this. We had a terrific year, singing songs about testing and making things silly so they won't be scary. My family and I love to camp especially near the ocean. I became one with the ocean for the better part of the summer as my children crept through the tide pools in Beverly and Nahant. And that is all there is, there isn't anymore!
