Julie's Story
While everyone was attending the 25th
I am retired now. I work part time as a brand ambassador for Qui Tequila. During the 25th class Reunion, I was in Boston meeting my then boyfriend before he deployed to Iraq.
After high school, I went to Angelo State University. I started my college career in nursing, but quickly found out that wasn't the field for me. I found myself going into the teaching field. I chose English as my major and journalism as my minor. If any of you knew me in high school, you might remember that I like to write.

rs fall into the starving artists category. I was so pleased when a teaching position opened at DRHS. I took Mrs. Evans place and taught at DRHS for thirteen years. I now teach in San Antonio at Madison HS. I am the newspaper and yearbook advisor. I love my job. I love the opportunities San Antonio offers. With my job, I have gotten to travel to Seattle, Washington DC, Chicago, Kansas City, and South Padre during the summer. That is very unusual for the teaching profession. This job is different every year. The creative process makes it a challenge and the technology that comes out makes it easier and easier (and sometimes harder).
