Hi all,
I have completed my MSN and am currently working at Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC. Interestingly enough, the nursing school I graduated from 10 years ago! I continue to work as needed at the hospice house and am very grateful for the opportunities I have been afforded in Oncology and Palliative/Hospice nursing. My family continues to grow. I am currently working at a free standing hospice house located in upstate sc & also as a PT clinical nursing instructor at the same facility having completed a Master's In Nursing Education focusing on End of Life Issues in Dec, 09. amily and I moved to SC in 1997. Never realizing the value of education until this time. I decided to continue my education and obtained became an RN in 2001 specializing in oncology (cancer). At that time, my heart led me into end of life care/hospice.
My son Bradyn and his wife Leah have blessed us with a grandson, Caleb John Roddy who turned 1 on January 24; The light of our lives. My son Brian is a pilot;graduating from Middle Tennessee State Univeristy, August 2009. My husband Pete and I have been married for almost 18 years. He is self employed as a handyman/contractor.
Many turns and twists along the way and life's inevitable losses, but through it all my faith has been strong and have never been alone, although it may have been shaken at times. Living by faith and listening to God's voice that gets louder as I live; or maybe I am just listening now.........Julia
