Life
After 25 years as a newspaper reporter and editor covering everything from local homicides to the Gulf War, then almost 10 years as a freelance writer and editor, I’m now working in corporate communications at a large bank headquartered in Charlotte.

avel from Washington to air bases all over the world, fly on everything from a helicopter gunship to an F-16 and meet people who reminded me of folks I grew up around. Before that I reported at the daily papers in Colorado Springs, Colo.; Odessa, Texas; and Columbus, Neb.
I like to travel, especially in the mountains. I also play violin for a local community orchestra and in a string quartet.
