Life
Yikes! Its the day after my 36th birthday and I thought I'd finally fill this thing out..Can somone please tell me how someone who is a member of the class of "86" can be 36?..Already?!? Where did the time go?
Anyways, after high school I headed off to college and got my assoc. degree in business with a major in travel&tourism. In 1988 I went off onto the exciting career path of being a travel agent and...HATED IT! So I went back to school and after 12 years of working as a Cardiac Sonographer I opened my own company called HeartBeats Enterprises.It's a cardiac ultrasound company and I've been in business for 2 years. Its going great, and everyday I feel lucky that I get to do what I love. On a more personal note, I got married at 23, had my daughter at 26, moved to NH at 27, and decided I no longer got any great satisfaction from supporting and putting somone else through 7 years of college so I gave him the heave-ho and became a single parent....Expand for more
The next few years were tough but being the lucky girl that I am I finally met a great guy (older by 14 years) who is not only fun, smart and totally organized but financially independent so I married him(7/00). Now I live in southern NH with my husband and daughter who is 10. We live in a yellow cape with a white picket fence in a town where the schools are great,the crime rate non-existant and everyone knows everyone blah blah blah.I know it sounds corny and it is total surburbia, but I'll be honest and say Life is Good..no,its GREAT! Well thats it in a nut shell, I hope you all are doing great too.
I just want to ask one thing....Whats up with all the lame questions under the life profile? Like I care if someone ended up being a dog or cat person. I don't know about you all but, I want the "DIRT"! No offense, but do any of you really care who read what book last? Me either. Oh well, take care and don't forget.........
