Julie's Story
Hi everyone:
After graduation, I attended Cal State Northridge, then S.F. State, and finally UCLA. Then I taught students with hearing impairment in the Bay Area and L.A.,, among others. I’ve lived and worked abroad, both in Rome, and later London., both of which were life altering experiences. I have one daughter, in her late 20’s., who also lives in Berkeley. The blessings I’ve had in my life are not lost on me and I hope to always remain mindful of that fact. PS Three of my fondest memories of high school: being on the drill team (rather out of character for me at the time) and t.p.‘ing somebody’s house after a run to Tiny Naylor’s (seemed cool at the time), being a card carrying member of the Lizard Legion Club, and meeting with my World History and Philosophy teacher and my brainiac classmates (who always kept me on my toes) during the teachers’ strike at a park down the block from school.
