Julie's Story
Hi All. First I have to say after not being the most popular kid throughout my school years; that it cracks me up to see I have over 2000 hits on my profile. I have a daughter who will be 22 in February. I just had my 50th. The idea that I'm 50 just cracks me up. It's so hard to believe it. I guess I still have that Peter Pan thinkology. "I won't grow up!" So far 50 hasn't bothered me at all. If I let myself start to think about 60, well than possibly my ideas could change. After high school I moved to Lincoln IL where I went to college and got an AA degree. I then went out to Arizona State to finish. Problem that I had was after a school of 500 total I went to a school with 500 each one class. It wasn't me. So I didn't finish. Lived in AZ for 8 years. Partied, worked, Married, Divorced. e I really wanted her to know her grandparents and her great grandma. They had moved to Vegas and in 93 we followed. Been here ever since. Love it. Don't miss snow at ALL! Worked at an air conditioning company as a dispatcher, and then in Human Resources at a local casino. I loved that job. Had the time of my life. Then life took over, the casino was sold, and parts of the body started degenerating. Had surgerys & need some more. You couldn't tell I had anything wrong if you looked at me. Looks can be deciving. Have a lot of pain. Most of the brain cells still remain. Long term memory much better than short! (hmm I wonder why!) Any way that's it in a nutshell. I do not currently work. Guess you'd say I'm semi retired for now. I have no problem making the days fly by. Next surgery is in late February. So there you have it. Say hi, ask to be my friend and lets catch up. If you happen to be coming to Vegas, don't forget to get in touch. Remember what ever happens here - stays here. Til Later
