Julie's Story
A little about me since high school... I attended Weber State University for a year and was involved in the leadership council. Then I went to the University of Utah for a year (don't worry I am still an avid BYU fan!). I didn't graduate from college. I wish I had! As far as work...I worked at JcPenney for awhile then Franklin Quest both Customer Service and Training. I was also an Especially For Youth counsellor. That was a blast! I was able to travel with them to Canada, North Carolina, Missouri, Idaho and at BYU. I did that for 2 summers. I also served a performing mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Nauvoo, Illinois for a summer. as an incredible experience. I did a lot of theatre after high school also. I loved it but found that after I was married and had kids it is way to time consuming to be in theatre. I met my soul mate in October of 1994, got engaged on Christmas day of the same year and married on March 4th, 1995. We have 4 kids, 3 boys and 1 girl. We live in Smithfield, Utah. My husband is a mechanical engineer. He does a lot of designing for Autoliv and Campbell Scientific he also helped with the rides on the Stratosphere in Las Vegas. Yes I have tried them! Even though I am terrified of heights! I keep busy supporting my kids in their athletics and school. I am on the Library Board for Smithfield, PTA at one school and community council in 2 schools. There is my wonderful life in a nutshell!
