Julie's Story
Life
After Millikan, I went to LBCC for 2 years while working at Disneyland as a Tour Guide. An all time great job and we still have annual passes so that I can get my Disney fix. At City College I decided that I didn't think an office job was for me, so in 1988 I got on with American Airlines as a flight attendant. I was based in New York my first year and then transferred back to L.A.(the weather is better in So. Cal) and I've flown out of LAX ever since. I got reacquainted with Millikan '83 classmate Bob Snow in 1990 and we were married in '94. We re-built our home in Belmont Shore in 2001 and love it. Bob is a Deputy Chief for the Ontario Fire Dept. and has been with the department since 1988. We had our son, Jack in April 2006 and he is our pride and joy. The 3 of us are having a great time together and life is good!

College
I went to LBCC from '83 ...Expand for more
to '85. I was working on a degree in Business Mgmt. but it was so boring. I was in a sorority there (Entre Nous, not in the Greek system) and had a blast with that. Those girls are all my best friends today. I decided to leave college to see if the office life was right for me and I hated it. All day in a cubicle was torture. I'm now a Flight Attendant and have been since '88. Life is great and I'm so glad I found what I was meant to be.
Workplace
I worked at Disneyland as a Tour Guide from '84 to '87. Left the happiest place on earth to work in customer service for Federal Envelope (a paper company) and the most boring place on earth. Needed more adventure so I got on with American Airlines as a Flight Attendant in '88. Was based in New York for a year till I could get back home and to better weather. Have been based out of LAX ever since. I fly only our overwater routes these days so spend all my days at work on the Hawaiian Islands and sometimes London. Life is good!
