Life I'm more into confessions than bios. ;-) In fact, my husband tells me I have a compulsive need to confess despite never having really done anything bad. So here’s my confession: I was miserable by the end of high school. I was so miserable that despite my apparent accomplishments and drive, I couldn’t face graduation with all of you from whom I felt so isolated. What I didn’t realize then was that my greatest education and challenge during the coming years would be from life’s struggles, all the highs and lows, the sad and happy events, the personal work and the relationship work – all that stuff that we all share in common. There aren’t grades associated with all of this. You just learn to do your best with and for those you care about. Family and friends are the most important. Forty years later I live in the Santa Cruz Mountains with my husband of 33 years, Ralph, and our current assortment of dogs and cats.
