Life
in November '07, my squeeze and i celebrated our 10th anniversary, fairly close to what we believe would be the 34th anniversary of his first having asked me! (what can i tell you? i was a freshman, he was a senior ... he knew what he wanted, and i didn't have a clue!!! we went our separate ways, only to be brought back together after having been just friends for many years in between. fate DOES have a way of making the right things happen!)
we didn't marry early ... so we parent "on the library system" - checking out my 3 nieces or one of his 14 nieces and nephews. we goof around with them, spoil them, and then check them back in to the parental library, where ALL of the responsibility l...Expand for more
ies in actually having to RAISE them!!! it's a PERFECT system for us!
meanwhile, we've got a big ole yellow laborador we spoil equally as rotten as the 2-leggers that come and go. his name's duncan, and he's really the master of the house -- only reason he lets us stay is because he can't pour the tomato juice on his kibble himself !!!
am blessed with great family and great friends, with whom i spend a lot of time; doing what we all do when we gather -- laughing, telling stories, talking 'til all hours, eating, etc.
still love the sports scene; movies; theatre; travel; books; jokes; all sorts of reasons to laugh out loud; catching up with friends of long-standing ... some things never change!
