Julie's Story
Fast forward to 2021. Above photo is from early 90’s. Since graduating in 1960, I received an Associates Degree from Cazenovia College, attended Syracuse U and RIT in Fine Arts. Never finished my degree. Worked at several jobs before having the opportunity to sell real estate. Enjoyed a successful career in Real Estate for 40 years, retiring in 2016 due to having hip replacement, followed by three other surgeries.
Over the years, my 2nd husband and I traveled extensively, put his two children through college, and now I’m helping my granddaughters with college. They are amazing young woman and it’s my pleasure to help them while I’m on this side of the daisies.

es and have provided some structure in their lives. I’ve pursued my passion in the arts and film. I’ve also actively followed and participated in local politics, been active in working with the elimination of Aids and served on the Board of Aids Rochester in the 80’s-early 2000’s.
Like all of us, I’ve had many wonderful experiences, and many difficult times. I’m having my share of health issues, but cope with depression and various physical limitations. Whatever I accomplish, I say, “Good enough”. Pushing for perfection is long gone. I lost my precious twin sister in October, 2019. I’m still dealing with her loss. It never goes away.

Spent time this year working on our 60th+1 Class Reunion, which we had to cancel due to Covid. Next year most of our class will be celebrating 80th birthdays and we may have our Reunion and combined 80th B’dy celebration.
