Julie's Story

After Stockbridge went to Florida to work as an artist in the theme park for a year to mull over college vs art school. om the Midwest (always vowed never to go back there) and fell in love, moved to Iowa, got married to Paul. In 2002 moved back to San Francisco to teach at my art university, we stayed for 7 years, moved back to Iowa. In all these years, I've made my living as an illustrator, and have done well there. Painting and drawing is my life, plus the hubby, and three dogs. Traveled a lot to Africa and Asia for inspiration and off the beaten track (ie, no safaris, tour groups.) Latest love: Morocco. In 1991, had a double organ transplant that saved my life. Like the experience of going to Stockbridge, it changed my life.
