Julie's Story
It's interesting to me that people remember me a lot more pleasantly than I remember myself. Thanks everyone. Although, it would have been nice if I'd had some kind of social life back them, maybe the constant ineptness would have worn off faster. But it did and that's all that really matters.
Right now I am the mom of a 13 year old girl (my late parents once sarcastically wished a daughter on me exactly like myself, but fortunately the gods intervened and blessed me with a child who is very self motivated and has great (and this just isn't parental pride) singing voice..

would be a perpetual student, but not perpetually in school. Just always looking to learn something new and embracing Eleanor Roosevelt's suggestion to do something that scares me every day. Right now that seems to be trying to guide my daughter through middle school without her realizing it.
To my former classmates who have since passed into the next world (Kim Henry, Kirk Ericson, Joe Beaulieu, and Barry Birkeland), thanks for touching my life, however briefly it may have been. I think of you more than you could have imagined. To my former classmates still wrapped in the mortal coil, please say hello sometime.
