Life
I am an R.N. working in the maternity unit at st. charles hospital in port jefferson..I have been there for 17 years now!married with 2 children jake 8yrs. old, sam 6yrs. old.I am still singing!! met my husband joe in a band. I also have two awesome step children..Danny is 19 now and Juliette [I didnt name her! ] Is 16.We live in Blue Point New York..alot of people from Islip and East Islip have ended up here, too! My parents are still happily married..52 yrs! And still live on So Ocean Ave-but the house looks nothing like the house I grew up in ,th anks to my husband Joe and brother in law Ron! Last year I became a board certified lactation consultant...helping women breast feed...Expand for more
. Its a pretty lucrative private little practice i have going in between my 12 hr. shifts at the hospital! I love what I do..it's what I have wanted to do since I was a little girl! My husband Joe is an incrediblly gifted guitar player who gets to go out and perform way more than I do! Someone has to stay home with the kiddies, and somehow it always turns out being me! A friend Joann and I are starting a new business called "Baby steps" we will go into new parents homes to help teach newborn care, breast feeding, dealing with colic,caring for multiples, etc...If any one knows of anyone in need of our services, we do have gift certificates! Hoping to re connect with old friends.......
