Julie's Story

I went to Red Wing Vo-Tech for LPN, after I finished I moved to ST. Paul. I worked at a hospital for four years, than I got this wild idea to join the navy. While I was stationed in Scotland I met my husband. We lived in Virgina Beach until he retired in 1991. We moved West Monroe,LA (slight culture shock) so we could both get college degrees. I went for my RN. Oh I almost forgot along with all this we have a son. When we finished school David was offered a job with the state of Arkanasas. I work in a Endoscopy Center. in the summer and live down here in the winter. I like to be outside on cool summer nights and listen to the sounds of the nights. I like to lay on the ocean beach and feel the water come up around me. I like to ride roller coasters and scream. I like the the feel of a baby's skin and the smell of it. I love baby animals and their inocences they have. I retired from nursing at the age of fifty. My husband and I travel. I now do quilting as a hobby and profession. We live in Arkansas. I went to Australia for a month as a retirement gift from my husband. Loved it and had a great time. Enjoying my life of dreams.
