Julie's Story
After I left school I got married and lived in GP had our first son Jeff.( who is now 30)I worked at Litton's and learned a trade from them. We then moved to Canada for about 6 years, where I had our 2nd son Matt.( he is now 25) After Matt was born we moved around from GP to Hillsboro where I stayed married for about 12 years. Then we got a divorce.
About a year later I met my 2nd husband. He got a job offer about 3 months after we got married and we moved to Redmond Washington. I helped him start a electronics company for a guy out of Indy. Then I had my 3rd child our daughter Ashley.( Ashley is 21) We worked in Washington about a year and a half then moved the company to Hillsboro,Or where we ran it for about 6 years.
I got bored working there and started looking at other places to work like Intel and such... Then got a job at Flight Dynamic's.
I worked as a modifier repairing airline equipment then became an FAA inspector which I still hold. I have moved up to a Customer Service Rep. dealing with Air-lines from all over the world . It is a great job.

ed in a work related accident. We were married almost 14 years.
After he died I sold the house in Hillsboro and bought 22.5 ac in Yamhill. I was tired of the people in town and their attitudes. I had 3 horses when I moved out to Yamhill. I started a horse rescue that kept me busy. I took in alot of Ex Race horses that was going to be put down do to people not wanting to take the time to let them heal. (I had 33 at one point.) and have found homes for alot of them.
I did this for about 3 years where I met the most wonderful man in my life on line( he didn't have a use for horses when I met him)We hit it off right from the get go. We have been together for 4 years. and he just loves our horses we have now. We have 17 horses. We don't take in to many horse now but if there is one that is neglected or abused or starved we find a place for that horse and bring it back to health and find a good home for it.
So that is what I have been up to....Have been learning to plumb some also.....thanks to my other half. Raised in the country and still very much a country gal... not scared to get dirty !!!
