Julia Monticino:  

Life My life has been and still is just wonderful, and it's still happenning right here in Denton, TX. My official job title is Mom. I have two great kids whom I love and like and look forward to seeing every day. Our life is a musical -- literally. It's just way too much fun. I just have to curb my tendency to get cracked up and put on the mom face when appropriate. My wonderful husband, Michael, is a professor and administrator here at UNT. He is the associate dean for the College of Arts & Sciences. Through his job we have marvelous opportunities to meet interesting people and give our kids a wonderfully cultural and thoughtful world to which to grow. Besides being Mom and Mrs. Dr. Monticino, I do have a pretty cool life of my own, at least for someone who has young kiddos, I think. I own and manage 17 rental housing units better than anybody, I think. I enjoy great relationships with all of my residents. I enjoy reading, singing, communing with nature, traveling and learning new things every day. I have fun with life and the folks I get to share it with.
