Julie's Story
I can't believe it is the year 2008! Wow! Who would of ever thought we would see this year and oh my goodness how time flies. As I get older the years seem to pass by faster and faster. Wait! Slow down. I had a birthday in January and turned 46! OUCH! I remember when my stepmom asked me how old I was and after telling her she started laughing saying "goodnight Julie!, are you that old". I'm thinking old, well thanks alot! In my mind I am not old but my body tells me otherwise. My so called friend arthritis reminds me just how old I am every day. I recently was back home after Christmas and drove around Clinton showing my soon to be 14 y/o so...Expand for more
n places I lived, where I went to school and where I held my favorite memories. It was kind of bittersweet as the town seems to have fallen under some hard times. Things just did not look or feel the same. Maybe once you leave-you can't go back. I wish I was able to visit more and stop in and see old friends but when I come home it is a chore to fit all of my family in on such short trips. For some odd reason the older I get the less time I have but time is so precious and it is not to be wasted. I learned that from having cancer. Actually my son is so busy in sports I don't have time. Well it has been fun for now-untill next time. God Bless!
