Julie's Story
Who knew that life would blur by at such a dizzying pace once I left high school? High school was such an idylic moment in time...and it was hard to transfer right before my Senior year to a new school.
I have been married to Craig Kinghorn for 30 years (my boyfriend Senior year and a 1977 "Rowdy" Alumni). We have 7 children (yes - crazy, I know) - ranging in ages from 29 to 4. We have 5 boys and 2 girls which makes for a very lively household and never a dull moment.
We live in San Diego, California now - which we love, but I miss Ohio. Craig owns his own company which does employee benefit consulting for large corporations (actuarial studies, risk analysis, and underwriting). I work for an HMO as Director of TPA Services and at...Expand for more
tend UCSD/School of Medicine in the evenings - finishing my thesis for my Master's.
My oldest son (Adam, 29) is already on his own - a corporate controller/finance, my daughter (Arielle, 26 - also on her own) will be attending UCSD School of Medicine next year (cognitive/neuroscience), Andrew (21), Alexander (20), Austin(11), and Abraham (10) are all students and Alliyah (4) is resident Princess. We have alot of fun with our clan.
I cherish the time I spent at both West Geauga and Athens High School and still consider myself a "born and raised Ohioan" (my sons, who are football players and fans, never let me live down my allegiance to the Cleveland Browns).
