Life
After graduating from Burges in 1969, and unable to attend college for financial reasons, I worked a year to earn college money and started UTEP in 1970. I graduated with a B.S. in Business Education in 1974 and therafter joined the U.S. Immigration & Naturalization Service in December 1974. You could say I got my "foot in the door with Civil Service" as a clerk, then a secretarial position, and moved into the officer cadre as an Immigration Inspector for 5 years, Supervisory Immigration Inspector (7...Expand for more
years) Immigration Examiner,(9 years) and retired in August 2006 as a Supervisory Adjudications Supervisor after 32 years of service. My spouse, Ben, is a retired Border Patrol Field Office Supervisor. We love retirement!!!!!!!! Hobbies: Travelling, boating. camping, gambling, and baby sitting our 77 nephews/nieces and 17 great grand nephews/nieces when their parents need a break. Our dog, Duchess, a terrier/chihuahua mix, 8 years old is our baby. Life is for the living, and we live it to the fullest!!
