Life My name is Julie Tyler, okay, now Julie Allison. WOW! Where to start? Where has the time gone? It's been a LONG time. After High School I attended Palomar College and Brigham Young University. My major was Psychology and Child Development. I really enjoyed it. Along the way I worked as an executive secretary. For the most part I really enjoyed this type of work. For the next 7 years I worked for an international bridge design firm based out of France. I think this was probably my most interesting job. I met people from all over the world as well as enhancing my skills. This was a great opportunity for me. I got married at the age of 29 to Bruce Allison from San Diego He went to Crawford High School. We met at a church dance. Now, thats a funny story! We dated for a little over a year and then got married. I was an instant mom to a darling 6 year old boy. For the most part he has been a great kid. Well that darling little boy is now 22 years old. Okay I'm old! Time has just flown by! I worked outside the home professionally as an executive secretary until Sept. of 1997. Bruce and I became foster parents in 1997 and immediately recieved a sibling group (boy and girl)who were at the time 2 and 4 1/2. Three years later we wound up being able to adopt them. What a blessing they have been in our lives. We love them SO much! Bruce and I decided we were going to close out our license as foster parents. We were tired of living under the microscope of the "system". Guess what? Yep, we recieved a call regarding another sweet sibling group (boy and girl) who were 5 months and 2 years old.
