June's Story
Well heck, It has been a long journey to where I am, although seems like just yesterday i was headin out of Crescent City, after graduation I joined the CCC, and went to southern Ca for two years, then I came home had my first daughter, she is now 22, married with a son, so yeapers, I am a grandmother now. sheesh, I just got back from visiting her and my grandson in New York. I had my second daughter, who currently resides with me in Ukiah Ca and then decided to go to college, and graduated from Humboldt State with BS...Expand for more
W. I moved back to CC, raised my kids, and then moved on agian. I have been a probation officer, street outreach worker, and now a mental health provider to high risk youth in foster care, or group home care. My partner and I are foster parents, and are in the process of adopting our 10 month old foster daughter, and we have two other foster children that will be returning home soon, 2, and 4, and then my partner's 17 yr old daughter, so we have a full house. There is lots more I left out, I will tell if you ask....
