June's Story
I moved in and out of Notus during my elementary school years. My Grandma Jameson lived there and my parents kept moving back. Looking back on those years now they seem like a dream. I remember playing in the irrigation ditches in the summer and the long walks home from school. Meeting after school with grandma's old dog Sport ,my dog Snippy and Pete's dog Rusty.
Mrs Puckett and Mrs Van Slyke (sp?) they were my favorite...Expand for more
teachers.
Of course my cousin Pete Jameson who was my best buddy,
Elaine and Evelyn who lived next door to my grandma,
Larry Batchner and grandma Batchner, Eddie whose dad ran a filling station,Evon and Billy Fivecoats, and many more whose names I can no longer recall.
Elaine and Evelyn loaned me so many wonderful books
I wish I could thank their mother for the influence she made on my life.
