KEVIN's Story
OK...here is a rundown of the last 40+ years. I got married and went to work for United Airlines as an Apprentice Mechanic right after graduation. We had 3 kids, unfortunately our second child passed away at 18 months. The other two kids are grown up and doing great. We decided to move to a 40 acre piece of land I bought in the Bull Mountains of Montana in 1978, and I went to work for a new Regional Airline (Big Sky Airlines) as a Lead Mechanic. 5 years later I had moved up to Vice President of Maintenance, and I stayed there until their bankruptcy in 1990. ayed in Montana the whole time. Divorced in 1980, then I remarried in 1992 to a great lady. We built a Saloon near our home in 1992 and I took a break from airplanes to become an entertainer there, performing old Rock N' Roll and Country music with a group I had formed. It was great fun for awhile but WORE ME OUT!! We sold the business in 1996. Currently I am back in aviation as Chief Inspector for an Air Charter Company based in Billings (Edwards Jet Center) and I think I will settle in here till retirement.
I hope there is another reunion. I made it to the one in 1984, but never heard about the ones after that. Somebody let me know, OK?
