KIM's Story
My husband Scott (1982 LaFollette graduate) and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on June 20th, 2012. We have 2 grown sons, ages 22 and 19. I retired from the City of Madison in Sept. 2011 after 29 years and now work for our family business, which is a lawn mowing/maintenance, landscaping, snowplowing and full automotive repair shop. My husband, both boys and myself own the business and work full-time. Our business is located in the Town of Sun Prairie, called S & K Automotive, S & K Lawn Maintenance, S & K Lawn...Expand for more
Mowing, S & K Landscaping and S & K Snowplowing. Most people think the K in S&K stands for Kim but actually the K stands for our youngest son, Kevin, who first started the business with his dad in just lawn mowing. Today, we now have 5 different businesses that we manage.
We still live on the eastside of Madison, not too far from where we both grew up.
When we can get away from our business, we enjoy time away spent at our cabin in Rhinelander, WI, camping at Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells, or boating.
