Kandy's Story
Life
I'm living in Southern California (just 30 minutes south of Palm Springs). I have 2 children, Kayli is 20 and Chris is 16 (obviously my son plays football for school, lol) plus 2 step-sons, Skylar is 19 & very artistic and quite the acquatic athlete (he's going to University of Arizona) and Tanner is 18 and like his younger step-bro (my son), he plays football for school too. I don't have any current photos of them to post on this site, rather, I haven't had the current ones developed but when I do, I'll put their pic here also.
I've only lived in CA since Sept. of 2000. Though I love it out here, I do miss my family and friends in Texas and I'd love to hear from my old classmates to catch up on what's been goin' on in their lives!
I listed some of the colleges I "attempted" to go to but never finished. I have a few hours on my belt but then it became all about my kiddos, ya know?
Before I moved out to CA, I was living in Magnolia, TX (working for a Montgomery County judge) on some private family land passed down through my grandmother via by great-granddaddy. My mom has a beautiful home out there, my baby brother Mickey & his family have about 2 acres of there own and my sister Wyndy & her family also live out there. My brother Casey still lives in Houston but hasn't done anything w/his piece of the property and of course, I'm out here in sunny CA & haven't done anything with my piece yet either. r just started college part-time so I've got a few other things on my mind at the time & we'll be out here for a few more years yet. But I still get to visit my family every so often or they come out here.
My daughter has her own apartment with a roommate now and paying her own bills as well as going to school part-time. She's been out on her "own" but still close by, since about August of '06 and she continues to "make her momma proud".

I always wanted to be a performer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were surprised that I didn't but happy with the course I've chosen.
